Melissa Ireland, Contextual Engagement Manager, London Borough of Merton

Graham has supported us in a bespoke package to look at Bystander training in communities affected by Domestic Violence, Hate Crime and Youth Violence. Graham was flexible in his approach, showing in depth knowledge and skills around the application of the bystander toolkit, and passionate about the impact that this approach can have on communities. Graham supported in training up local trainers to be able to continue the work in the community, supporting us in spreading the knowledge and skills across all residents and young people.

Graham received positive feedback from training held with professionals and community members, with the most common response to the toolkit was that it was applicable to everyday situations and easy to understand.

It was delight to have Graham with us and work so closely with training some of our community and partners. His input has sparked further discussions around how this work can impact on making our community safer.
