In recent years Universities have come under media and public scrutiny for several negative reasons. The positive is that universities also represent the potential for positive change.
Research shows that bystander approaches are effective in settings where group identities and culture are strong.
Universities are more than just the students and as such present excellent opportunities to develop trainings that can be delivered to students and staff alike. These layers provides a way to build a community in motion to prevent the likes of sexual assault, sexual harassment, hate crime and to improve mental health.
With experience working in both UK institutions as well as within the College system in the United States, Cultivating Minds can support the development of responses which will support the overall student experience. The training provided helps the provision of safe and supportive learning environments which support successful outcomes.
